Zen Teaching
Training and Background
Subhana Barzaghi has practiced Buddhist meditation for thirty years and is a qualified teacher in two Buddhist traditions: Vipassana Insight Meditation tradition and Zen Buddhist tradition.
She received transmission as a “Roshi” (Zen master) in 1996 from her teachers John Tarrant Roshi and Robert Aitken Roshi. Subhana teaches intensive Zen & Vipassana retreats in India, Australia and New Zealand and conducts workshops in Sydney.
Subhana is the resident teacher of the Sydney Zen Centre and founder of Kuan Yin Zen Centre in Lismore. She also teaches at the Melbourne Zen Centre

Sydney Zen Centre Teaching
Subhana is the resident teacher of the SZC.
Subhana teaches zazen and offers interviews for SZC members every Monday night from 7pm – 9pm.
